MATT JONES - He is GOD (I did NOT write this!). Any ideas,no matter how good or how crap, are ultimately chosen or rejected by him. However... There are those certain personages who how to wrap him around their little fingers, so if you have an idea and can convince one of them that it's good, they'll put the thumbscerws on Matt, HEHEHEHEHEH! So these people are: KATH DUNN- Has previous experience of that domain of the insane known as 'The Gathering'. She'll let you know straight away wether or not there's a chance of your ideas working, and generally intends to act as mum to all newcomers (although she doesn't have as much confidence in her abilities as the rest of us!). JON TAYLOR- No previous experience at the event, but a skilled roleplayer who seems to have an insanely acurate knowledge of all david Gemmell books (which gave him a major role in formulating some of the grouphistory and structure ideas). CHRIS WIGNALL- The Gathering Grandad, has been going to the event and the moots for years. has a lot of swords and will eventually get aruond to giving everyone some some basic training in that area (also helped by offering some of the group organization details). CRAIG DONOHUE- ME!! don't know much but I know how to get what I want, main reason I'm on this page is because I'm writing it and they havev't read it yet (listened whilst everybody else came up with ideas!!). NOTE- Please use 'The Gathering' as the title in any related correspondance. |
Ticket Transport Basic Latex Sword Tent Sleeping bag Huge Rucksack Torch(es)+Batteries Towel(s) maybe(!) and basic toiletries Water Carrier (there ARE stand pipes down there) FOOD!!! (they sell stuff there, but trust us it's limited. Take money for hot food but basically bring lots of durable snack food - and by the end of the week you'll be eating MARSHMALLOW SANDWICHES!) | ||||||||||||||||
